I felt like I was getting way too tight in my painting and wanted to do something to loosen up. I decided to go back to still lifes for awhile to try and make that happen, using as few strokes as possible to get the image I wanted. I still think I could loosen up some more so next I am going to do some green apples. Can you tell I love green! Hope you like it.

This is a great little painting! Love the overhead view and compostion. It reads both as peas but also as seascape (to me); crowded boats on the water, navigating the mangroves... very cool!
